A day and night of acoustic music at the Grove pub with some of Leeds' best new voices.

The Hard Way Up features Hayley Gaftarnick, Bella Gaffney, Izzy Thomas, Accordianna and more to be confirmed.

The Hard Way Up is dedicated to the spirit of rebellion, and inspired by suffragette and rebel Hannah Mitchell, whose autobiography is called The Hard Way Up.

To help celebrate rebellion, acclaimed author Jill Liddington will introduce her book Rebel Girls, which tells the secret story of West Yorkshire's young suffragettes, including 16 year old mill girl Dora Thewlis the 'Baby Suffragette'.
