Founded in 2013 by artist/designer/engineer Lalya Gaye, Attaya Projects is a collective digital media arts practice primarily based in Newcastle, with an interdisciplinary network of collaborators spread across 4 continents. Attaya's aim is to create beautiful, engaging and thought-provoking interactive experiences. Their primary focus is on building art installations, providing consulting for the creative industries, and working with local communities in participatory workshops.

For the directory launch, Attaya will demonstrate some prototypes of interactive light technology that they are working on. This will take place at their studio, which is located at Commercial Union House, 3rd floor, 39 Pilgrim Street.
