Barrow Respectability supports older people to establish, participate and run a series of ventures, which will utilise their existing skills, develop new ones, encourage social interaction and provide valuable services to the wider community. Equipped with a clear sense of purpose, increased self-confidence and a wider social network, older people will be better placed to cope more effectively with periods of transition. Our key objective for the Respectability project will be to widen access for the most vulnerable groups: those with life-limiting illnesses (including dementia), carers and isolated men.

We will be distributing the directories with our Urban Angels, volunteers & from our reception.
