Now Then is a free, independent magazine covering art, culture and politics. Each issue is built around a submission from a different featured artist and the articles, reviews and interviews are written by local people. Now Then is all about reflecting the creative, cultural and political output of the city, engaging with local people and providing a platform for discussion and debate. Everyone is invited to get involved.

Now Then is published by local social enterprise Opus Independents. Working exclusively with independent traders, community groups and charities, Opus also hosts live music and poetry events and operates a poster and flyer distribution service.

In the autumn Now Then will publish an exploration of the ideas behind the Hannah directory.
