Steve Dearden, The Writing Squad
The Writing Squad is creating the next generation of writers in the North. Meeting in Newcastle, Manchester, Sheffeld and lots of places in between and beyond. We offer workshops, one-to-ones and projects to writers who join when they’re between 16 and 21. Not a youth arts project, we just work with writers who happen to be young in an ever expanding community of artists, who learn by making work together and creating their own networks.
