Ben is an experimental media technologist who uses research methods of design and art. His research is focused on the field of Designing Identity, including technical, social, political and aesthetic aspects of identity in digital public space.

Ben's current projects include: a New Cloud Atlas map of the world's internet infrastructure; Tortoys workshops on new ways of making DIY zines online; and doctoral research into identity design with Neville Brody and Kevin Walker at the Royal College of Art.
