Laura's work explores how we can use technology to re-enchant people with nature. Through sculpture and experimentation using simple analog and digital electronic systems she and visualises the interactions of living systems. The work responds to input from people and to the environment in which it’s installed. Pieces are often made with people and for the public realm, for example ’Flock’ an installation of windsocks which illuminate in response to the wind, was designed with Hoteliers in Blackpool.
