Terry Wragg, Leeds Animation Workshop

We are a women’s co-op, set up in 1978 to make animated films on social issues, and distribute them on a not-for-profit basis.

Working with partner organisations, so far we’ve produced 40 films on a range of subjects, including equality - sexism, racism, homophobia, learning disability - and family issues - parenting, sexuality, domestic violence; bereavement, child abuse, prison.

Accessible, entertaining, inclusive, and short, the films aim to get people talking and to raise awareness in a positive way.
