The Birley is an artist-led studio & project space, situated in this historic markets quarter of Preston city centre.

Since launching in 2014, year events have ranged from experimental sculpture shows, film launches, activist workshops, public space interventions and live performances.

We aim and provide a space where artists feel comfortable to test out new ideas and different directions in their practice.
