The Writing Squad exists to create the next generation of writers in the North. Meeting in Manchester, Sheffield, Newcastle and lots of places in between, we offer workshops, 1-1 development and project experience to writers who join us when they are between 16 & 21. Not a youth arts project, we are an ever expanding community of artists who happen to be young, growing as professional or better writers by working together, creating our own networks and promoting each other.
