I am an interdisciplinary artist working with multiple media and processes – often responding to heritage and environmental themes, as a means of exploring current social situations. I collect overlooked and discarded items – objects, images and texts – selected both according to appearance and symbolic connotations, and re-appropriate these artefacts for the narrative I’m exploring in a particular territory of place, history, or thought. Twenty years working in Arts Development and creative and cultural community engagement informs my practice.
