Michael Mchugh, Tim Shaw Et Al, Tyneside Sounds Society
A network & public programme dedicated to the recording and interpretation of the aural environment and sound heritage of Tyneside and the North East of England.
The network is made up of museum professionals, sound artists, phonographers, field recorders and electromagnetic wave enthusiasts (both passing and professional).
Holds regular events for all ages; exhibitions, psychic actions, wildlife discotheques, away days and social gatherings around television masts, listening stations and liminal spaces cluttered with the long forgotten debris of the 20th century.
