YSWN enables the musical and technical development of women and girls through access to resources, skills sharing, and collaborative opportunities. YSWN’s mission is to support a flourishing music industry which welcomes, encourages and progresses the inclusion of girls and women. Our work has two key areas: education activities, and industry-facing advocacy. To date, we have delivered over 85 skills workshops to over 400 participants - ranging from Algoraving and DJ-ing to coding – and inspired new groups across Yorkshire and beyond.
